Bill Klimack

Decision Analysis Manager, Chevron

William K. Klimack, Ph.D., is Chevron’s decision analysis manager, responsible for decision quality and the decision analysis job family.  A retired U.S. Army Colonel, he served as Head of the Department of Systems Engineering at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.  Following his Army career, he consulted in government, pharmaceutical, and oil and gas sectors.  He joined Chevron in 2012.

He is a Certified System Engineering Professional, a licensed Professional Engineer, and a Fellow of the Society of Decision Professionals (SDP), the National Speleological Society, the Explorers Club, and the Royal Geographical Society.  He is a Past President of the SDP and chaired the SDP Certification Council for five years.  He co-chaired the INFORMS task force that created the Certified Analytics Professional credential.
