Global Head of Product Data, Walmart
Ram Rampalli is the Senior Director & Global Head of Content for the product data/catalog team at @WalmartLabs. Ram joined @WalmartLabs as part of the founding team of the @Services division in August 2011. His primary area of work revolves around product data with a focus on taxonomy, classification and catalogs. Previously Ram spent over three years at eBay working on leveraging crowdsoucing to address deterministic problems within catalogs and classification. Ram has applied for/granted over a dozen patents in the product data classification and catalog domain. He is a frequent contributor to several industry associations including GS1 (Global Standards Organization) and CGF (Consumer Goods Forum). He holds a graduate degree in Engineering Management from Santa Clara University and advanced degrees in Software Systems, Math and Civil Engineering from BITS, Pilani.
